A month to the day...

since our last post. Sorry it has been so long, but it has been rather busy and the New Year doesn't look much different. First a quick glance at our Christmas. The girls had a blast and received many wonderful new things. They have enjoyed playing with them all. A couple of explanations of the pics. The girls all got new fancy dress up dresses. Everyone likes theirs except Lyla, a little too itchy, so hence the crown and diaper only in that pic! They also have discovered $$, and were very excited about their new wallets, Sonic cards and cash! The trampoline was fun the ONE day they have gotten to jump on it. Hopefully before much longer we will at least get above FREEZING here. Although it did look really pretty with a dusting of snow earlier in the week! Lastly, you should see these three dancing, the pictures don't do them justice, they are such a hoot!

On to today, it was Paige's first day to cheer in our Upwards league at church. She had a really good time and was super cute. I am helping "coach" our 10 girls and it is really fun.

CBS Christmas Program

Today was Chloe's program at Bible study. She was SO excited!! Paige had picture day at school so since everyone was dressed so cute we took a few pictures before heading out the door. The other pics are of Chloe on the stage. I was so proud of her, she stood right where she was supposed to and sang her little heart out for Jesus! So precious. She has loved looking at the pictures and seeing herself on stage! Maybe a future star...

HALLOWEEN...

We have had a very busy but fun Halloween week. I have posted several different slidshows of pics...Enjoy!

Trunk or Treat Day
Paige got to wear her costume to Preschool so it was costumes all day!! Then we took advantage of the one non rainy day and carved our pumpkins!

Chloe's B-day Morning Party
Chloe turned 3, can you believe it? Derek stayed home for breakfast and went and got donuts for us! We had a little party while he was with us before the day began! She got just what she wanted rainboots and and umbrella!

Last but not least, Halloween Night and Chloe's Official B-day Party!
We had our friends over for trick or treating and then cupcakes and playtime! It was lots of fun! We have such great friends who love our kids as much as we do! By the way if you haven't figured it out by now we had our own bridal party for Halloween, Paige the "wedding girl", Chloe back and forth between bridesmaid and flowergirl and Lyla the official flowergirl!

Pumpkin Patch

It's that time of year again...PUMPKIN time! We went to the pumpkin patch after church with some of our friends. It was a little cooler than we expected and kind of crazy since a year ago we did the same thing and we were sweating!! We had a good time and the kids had a blast. We took a hay ride out to the patch and picked our very own pumpkins! It was so much fun...enjoy the pics!!

First Soccer Game

Paige had her first soccer game last week...just now getting around to getting the pictures up on here. She had a good time and smiled almost the entire time. That was my prayer that she would just have fun, considering how non-aggressive she is, I think that is a fair thing to pray for. She did shed a few tears when she got the ball and was kicking it towards their goal. Another mom and I got excited while she was kicking and started cheering for her (well maybe it was yelling) and she turned straight to me and ran right into my lap crying. I guess she got embarrassed. When we got to the car after the game she asked me why I was yelling at her. So, then I had to explain that we were just cheering. It made me think of all those times when I was a little girl that the whole family would come over and watch the Cowboys play, I can't imagine where I learned to YELL instead of CHEER...Dennie, Donnie, Randy or Daddy....anyway, here are the pics.
