Christmas 2008

Oh what fun we had! Our Christmas was a blast this year. We enjoyed all the time with our family. The girls had a great Christmas and always remembered what was truly important...the birth of Jesus. We had a good time on Christmas Eve preparing cookies for Santa and baking our first ever "Happy Birthday Jesus" cake which we got to eat for breakfast on Christmas morning. Santa brought the girls a jump house that has completely taken over the dinning room. They are burning lots of energy even as I type this...great thinking Santa! Mimi and Papa got to come over the day after Christmas for Derek's special pancakes and Nana and Grandpa came around lunchtime and spent the weekend with us. We are so blessed! Christmas has a completely different meaning and feeling when you have little ones around. It reminds you of that complete innocence you had as a child and just how much the gift of Christ really cost!
