Paige went to the eye doctor today to have one of her eyes checked out. It turns out she has accmmodative esotropia, basically one of her eyes occasionally deviates. She doesn't have a vision problem but does have an eye muscle issue...so the doc put her in glasses to help strengthen that eye. We went tonight and picked them out. Of course she went with pink! We also went by Build A Bear to get glasses for her Carmella! Please pray that this is a smooth transition for her and us! Here is a good article to explain what this is if you are interested!! : )

I know another little girl with the same problem. She has done fairly well with her new glasses. Only problem is she tends to look over the top of the glasses! Hope that it goes well. She looks beautiful!

ReplyDeleteHI, just looking, I am friends with Samantha. hope you do not mind this comment. My daughter Madilyn had surgery last March for the very same thing and everything worked out great! Madilyn also looked over those kind of glasses, so if she has problems get the Mira Flex. My daughter loved those and she got to do her gymnastics with no problems!
