Spring Break at Disney

Well we have been back from Spring Break for almost a month and I am just now posting some pictures.  We had a WONDERFUL time, so wonderful in fact I am not sure words can do it justice.  The girls loved every minute and sharing all of it with Nana & Grandpa couldn't have been more special.  The look on their faces while meeting the princesses was worth millions.  It was a blast from the moment we went on our first ride in monorail until we said our last goodbyes to Minnie, Mickey and all of their pals.  The girls are of course asking when we get to go back...not sure on that one but I know for sure they enjoyed the trip.  Their favorite thing was unanimous...eating dinner at Cinderella's castle.  They still talk about it!  Lyla's favorite ride or at least the one she keeps asking to ride again was Test Track because "it is fun when you go outside real fast in circles!".  Chloe loved "Splash Mountain!" and Paige's favorite ride was a toss up between It's a Small World and Spaceship Earth.  Quite the different tastes in the speed of the rides.  It still cracks me up how close in age they are, how much they look just a like and how drastically their personallities are different.  Never will we be able to thank Nana & Grandpa enough for making this trip of a lifetime happen.  Memories were made that will most certainly last a lifetime.

Now for some pictures...you would be completely bored if I showed you ALL of the pictures we took so here are just a few...you may still get bored but at least it isn't all of them!!  : )

Paige Turned 7!!

How is it possible that my baby girl is now 7?!?!  She is growing up to be a beautiful and very talented young lady.  She is succeeding at everything they throw at her at school, is quite the softball player and can't wait for summer to get back out on the lake and wakeboard.  She is also quite the helper with her sisters which is a big help to this mommy!

For her birthday she wanted to have a roller skating party...so that is what we did!  It was a lot of fun and even daddy got out there and skated with her.  While he may be very athletic, skating is not his strong suit, however, we survived with no broken bones and only a buised knee or two!  : )

Here are some pictures from her party!

Sugar Plum Ball

Last night all three girls went to the Sugar Plum Ball with daddy and Papa.  They were so excited and couldn't wait to get their fancy dresses, shoes, headbands and purses all on and ready.  It was so much fun!  We turned my bathroom into the beauty shop where we did makeup, hair and got all fancied up!  Love that the girls have such a great example of how to be treated like a little lady in their daddy!

We drank hot chocolate and eat lots of yummy food and we fished and played on the playground! We even got in a little volleyball! Thanks so much to Shelly for organizing it all! It was a great time and the girls are ready to do it again!!!

Summer came to an End!

Well we have winterized the boat and cleaned it up and placed it snuggly in the garage for the winter. We hate for summer to end but are already busy with fall activities! This is Chloe's birthday month so we will have a birthday bash in a few weeks. We have preschool trips to the pumpkin patch and a first grade field trip to see a play at the children's theater. Never a dull moment around here. Maybe now that we aren't at the lake every weekend I will do better about updating this!! Here is a short video of our summer! It was a blast!!

Xplosion Softball

Paige is playing softball for the first time! She was VERY against it at first so we just had her go to a team meeting/beginning practice and she was hooked. She is playing with lots of her friends so she is having a great time. She is a pretty good hitter and can catch the ball well in practice...we just need to work on being a little more agressive in a game. I don't mean knocking people over just not shying away when there are all those people looking at her! She is taking a break from gymnastics right now and loving playing something new. Daddy is really enjoying it as well, lots of time in the yard playing catch and batting! Here are some pics from their very first game!! Getting her zebra striped socks on! She also has super cute hair bows and you can't see it but her nails are lime green to match! Hey, you might as well look cute while you are out in the dirt!!

Playing first base!
After the game, all smiles but tired and HUNGRY!! We made a trip to McDonald's for the hungry ball player and her bat girls!!

So We LOVE to Camp!!

We all went camping a few weeks ago. I wrote a great blog post about it but for some reason it is just not cooperating with me these days so it DISAPPEARED. So, I am trying yet again to get this posted!!

Our girls LOVE to camp. It is time I just cherish with my family. We are able to get away from it all and enjoy getting dirty and eating things we cook over a campfire. (Now don't get me wrong we still have access to technology hence all the pics with my phone and I don't camp without electricity and running water...I am pretty much a city girl! )

Here is our popup camper! We LOVE it and it is a great step up from the tent!!

Had to take a picture of this cabin we saw on one of our hiking trails. TINY cabin that you can see from the sign was home to 11, and 5 of the children were born in that very cabin...she was more of a woman than me for sure!! We went with some friends from church (that is who the extra kids belong to). So much fun for the girls to have friends to play with!
Daddy and the girls at the top of a cliff over looking the beautiful waterfall.

We had a great time and are already planning more trips this spring and summer.

Spring Break Girl's Trip!

Well, Blogger is not being my friend right now so you are going to have to see our fun weekend trip in REVERSE!!! : ) We took a super fun trip to Dallas to see Nana, Aunt Sarah and Grandma Jolene! It was A BLAST!! We visited the American Girl Doll store, went to a dress up cupcakes and tea party, had nails done, spent the night at Grandma Jolene's house and at a hotel, swam in the hotel pool, shopped, ate yummy food and giggled and made memories til our little hearts were all FULL! It was a wonderful time and we made tons of memories!! So here is our little trip, just in reverse!

Super tired girls on the way home! Yes, I took this while driving, but promise I never took my eyes off of the road! : )
It was Aunt Sarah's birthday weekend too! We had yummy cake at the hotel!! Song, candles the whole nine yards!!

Our hotel was next to Bass Pro Shops so we went and saw the fish and found this LARGE fish for a great photo op...our crazy Chloe always ready to make people laugh!

The girls in the lobby of the hotel. They love staying at hotels, it's just so much fun to be somewhere new!!

A quick ride on the carousel at the mall, well TWO quick rides!

All finished getting our nails done. Lots of glitter, bright colors, nail art and rings...made for super happy girly girls. Paige said this was her favorite part of the weekend!!!
